We believe that God is always working for good in the world and in YOUR life...

so let's pray to see God's hand at work.

Jesus taught us that we can share the same intimate relationship with God as he did; God believes in us, God is with us and for us no matter where we are or what we face. God is always working for good. Like a little child we come to God, trusting that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead in able to work in our lives. Join the community of prayer and Share the ADVENTure of seeing God's hand in your life.

Prayer Chain

We have a team of devoted and faithful people who are ready to hold you and those you love before the throne of God in prayer. An email to the prayer chain is rapidly passed to the others so a dozen or more people are praying for each request within a very short time of you making your needs known. While trust our Lord Jesus Christ knows and desires to answer our needs before we ever utter a word, it is nice to know there are others "agreeing" with you before God.

Sometimes we need to feel the touch of a hand, see a face that cares and hear their voice speak to God on our behalf. Each time we have communion by Intinction, we also have a station for prayer and annointing at the front of the Sanctuary where you can come forward for prayer and annointing. what you share is confidential, that you are seeking prayer for yourself or others is public. But in this congregation, you will find it prompts people to pray for you not to gossip.

Prayer and Annointing during Communion
Anna & Simeon Society

Anna and Simeon were two people who greeeted the baby Jesus when we was first brought to the Temple. They were constantly in praying for God's kingdom to come and God's will to be done here on earth as in heaven. Our team meets every Sunday morning in the Sanctuary at 9:30am to pray for the ministry of the church, all who will be coming that day, and all whom the Lord wants to touch in the nieghborhoods and through the ministry of HPC. Please feel free to join the team in prayer any Sunday you can.
