Stewardship

 

 

What are our responsibilities as Christians in terms of stewardship? 

To utilize and/or manage all resources that God has provided to us for the glory of God and the betterment of God’s creation. This includes our time, our health, our envirnment, our relationships, as well as our financial and material  possessions.

The Stewardship committee would like to congradulate Brian McQuain for having his idea chosen as the basis of our new logo. His idea of the new sanctuary window with an extended cross into the initials HPC was was expanded to take on the appearance of the front of the new sanctuary. The Committee will be using this logo for the reusable shopping bags, which will be black with green print, as illustrated. It is our sincerest hope that they will be ready to hand out on Easter Sunday.

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR TIME???

This is the benefit for having the abundant resources here in the U.S., they give us- Time. Time to do God’s work, time to care for others and tell them about God’s love as we were commissioned to do. 

Coming in May or June the leadership of HPC will be asking members to fill out a time and talents survey form to help us direct you to where your God given gifts will benefit all.
