Friday, August 13, Day Five, The Last Day on the Job

Friday Night and all is well. We finished the foundation. We had to move some mud and pour a lot of gravel, along with several small projects to finish up. We were done by lunchtime, and headed out to a local park for lunch. We enjoyed the beauty of God's scenery, and some of us went further out to see more of the mountains, while others headed back to the center for clean up and packing.

Unfortunately, we worked the Hedge's van so hard it broke down. So it is on the way to Ashland courtesy of AAA. We have enough room in the remaining vehicles to get home, so we'll be home as scheduled. We still have so much to tell you.

Pray for our safe return, and we'll see you on Sunday!

In Christ,

Kim and the 2004 Neon KY Mission Team

More bucket brigades - gravel in the drainage ditch.

Sarah finds more mud to get out of the drainage ditch.

The foundation is ready - it was measured and found to be ideal!

A grateful congregation thanks our Mission Team Members
for their hard work and inspiring example!
Thank you also to everyone who sponsored our missionaries.
