Please join us at Hilliard Presbyterian Church for a three-part series to help you with your job search. These seminars are open to the public and completely free of charge.

Television, the Internet, and newspapers continually remind us of how bad the economy and the job market are. Come to these interactive sessions to learn how you can differentiate yourself in this competitive marketplace.

Amanda Willenberg will help individuals who are looking for a job or thinking about making a job change. Her three presentations will focus on writing a resume, finding jobs and marketing yourself, and interviewing for a job. Attendees will leave these sessions with new confidence in their resume, marketing ability, and interviewing skills.

Ms. Willenberg is a Senior Director of Recruiting at Executive Staffing Solutions, a national recruiting firm specializing in health care. She is on the Board of the Ohio Association of Executive Search Professionals (http://oaesp.org), and has her Masters of Labor and Human Resources from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

These are stand-alone sessions, so feel free to join us for one or all of the presentations. Child care will be provided if requested. Please RSVP to the Church Office at 614-876-7121.

Session 1 - June 16, 2009, 7:00 - 8:30 pm - Resume 101. We will discuss how to optimize the description of your work experience. We will also learn what is important to have on your resume and what shouldn't be there at all.

Session 2 - June 23, 2009, 7:00 - 8:30 pm - Where do I find the jobs and how do I get my foot in the door? We will learn where to scout for potential positions and what to do when we find them.

Session 3 - June 30, 2009, 7:00 - 8:30 pm - Essentials in Interviewing We will go through the preparation for an interview and learn some of the classic mistakes that people make, as well as how anyone can stand out from the crowd of other applicants.

• From the South: Take your best route to Interstate 270, the beltway around Columbus, Ohio. Take I-270 to exit 13B, and merge onto Cemetery Road. Turn left at Leap Rd, and look for the Church on the left hand side.
• From the North: Take your best route to Interstate 270, the beltway around Columbus, Ohio. Take I-270 to exit 13, and turn right onto Cemetery Road. Turn left at Leap Rd, and look for the Church on the left hand side.
• From the East or West: Take your best route to Interstate 270, the beltway around Columbus, Ohio. Take I-270 to exit 13 or 13B, whichever you see, and follow the appropriate directions above.
